Angela accepted her call into the ministry in June of 1997 under the Pastoral leadership of the late

Rev. McKinley Jones of Union Hill CPCA, where she grew up and served most of her life. She is a

graduate of the North Carolina College of Theology where she obtained her Doctoral Degree in

Theology of Biblical Studies. Dr. Brooks is the Founder/CEO of Angela Y. Brooks Ministries,

Break of Dawn Prayer Ministry International, Helping Hands of Bethel Ministries and Bethel Bible

Institute; she loves to inspire others to deepen their spiritual walk with God and watch Him make

their impossibilities a reality, as well as positioning them to obtain their deliverance and

breakthroughs in various area of life. Angela has a heart of gold, one after God’s heart and always

willing to lend a hand in the lives of others.

Dr. Brooks always knew there was a special call on her life. As she continues to yield to and obey

God through the years, she began to understand and accept the fivefold anointing on her life. In

2021, Angela accepted her call to the Apostolic Ministry, and has been affirmed in this mantle with

great humility. She gives glory to God for all the things He is doing in her life. She is a Kingdom

Builder, Global World Changer, Prophet of God, and Evangelist – all to the Glory of God.

Angela is a former associate minister of Harvest Time Outreach Ministries, where she served

faithfully for over 16 years under the Pastoral leadership of Bishop Elijah Gray III and Dr. Victoria

Gray. Currently, Dr. Brooks sits under Apostle Sylvia L. Moore, Pastor of Abounding Love Ministries.

Her motto is “For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain; for I have been crucified with Christ, it is no

longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son

of God who loved me and gave himself for me.” But most importantly, I am a Born-Again Believer, a

Child of the Most High God, and a Servant to All.

Dr. Brooks is a native of Huntsville, Alabama, and the proud mother of three children: Demetria &

LaCresha Brooks, and Bobby Matthews (Marquita); two grandchildren; Jeremiah and Jamari.
